Snow Makes for a Wet Monday Commute

Last Update: 2/08 7:29 am
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The latest round of winter weather is moving through the area this morning, bringing with it the potential for an inch or more of fresh snow and possibly hazardous road conditions.

NBC Action Weather Meteorologist Brett Anthony says the heaviest of the snow should fall to the south of the city, with most of the metro seeing just an inch of snow.

With temperatures hovering around the freezing point, road conditions will likely vary from wet to snow-covered, depending on the area you’re in.

The spotty conditions have prompted more than three dozen schools to cancel classes Monday. See School Closings
