KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lee's Summit and Overland Park could see up to an inch of snow before day is over, while in Kansas City, we likely won't see much more than a dusting.
Meteorologist George Waldenberger says the southern edge of the metro could see up to an inch, and as you head farther south into Harrisonville, Mo., and Ottawa, Kan., there could be up to 2 inches.
We’ll likely only see a dusting to a half-inch of snow in the metro, George says, as the heaviest of the snow is falling outside the viewing area to our south.
