Former Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost
has joined the staff of the Kansas City Royals.
The 54-year-old Yost, who managed the Brewers from 2003-08, will work as the
club's special advisor to baseball operations.
During his time in Milwaukee, Yost compiled a 457-502 record and led the
franchise from a 68-94 mark in his first year to an 83-67 mark in 2008, but
was fired prior to the end of the season.
